We stay here frequently. The renovated rooms are lovely with leather chairs and new kitchen floors. Internet access is free, which is a big bonus for us because we're frequently visiting for part leisure and part business. We like the ability to cook our own meals and the fridge. We save a lot of money by packing in our own sodas and food, which makes the already well-priced stay even more of a value. The beds are a little harder than I may like and the thermostats can be wildly inaccurate, but all in all an excellent visit every time. Once, when I made a mistake with my online reservation, the clerk found me a room anyway and charged me the weekend rate versus the higher last minute rate. The staff is friendly and helpful. There are menus of take-out food available if you don't want to cook, and don't want to go out for dinner. The little pantry where you can buy food and sundries is an honor system and very reasonably priced. My most frequently visited hotel in Connecticut!
