The lobby attendant was very nice and helpful and Wendy the frot desk clerk was wonderful.
I did have an encounter in which I was standing in the lobby and the general manager spoke very unprofessionaly to the lobby attendant in my presence. I was mortified at the way he spoke in front of myself and other guests also. How dare someone be so unkind especially in front of other employees as well. I personally think the man should not work with the public with an attitude such as his. And because of that I will not be back and would recommend to others they not stay there either.

Description:

Welcome to the quaint and charming town of Troy, Alabama. The Holiday Inn Express Hotel Troy exhibits all the southern hospitality of the area and will be excited to have you as our guest. Our hotel was recently renovated to provide you with the amenities you enjoy. Our new rooms provide large working desk in the king rooms and activity tables in rooms with two beds. We also have full size sofas or large viewing chairs in each room. Every room has microwaves and refrigerators, hair dryers, iron and ironing boards, coffee makers and high speed internet. We are located on the south bound side of US Highway 231. We are 40 miles south of Montgomery, AL and 55 miles north of Dothan, AL. We are located approximately 4 miles from Troy State University and approximately 15 miles from Lockheed Martin Missile Plant. All other business in Troy are within a three to five mile radius. We invite you to join us in the near future. Come experience the southern charm in Troy.
