Location, location, location... and that's about it. Florida City is close the the Everglades and that's about all it has going for it.
The motel is borderline. Not very clean, my bath towel was stained and falling apart, I ended up using one of my own (beach towel, thank goodness I packed them). The wood veneer on the dresser was peeling off. There was dirt all around the edges of the entire room. The sheets looked clean, thank goodness, but you never can tell... There was a bug on the ceiling over the bed we didn't use. There were some pretty shady people staying there, which made me nervous. And someone set off our car alarm in the middle of the night. There are security cameras all around the motel outside, which makes me wonder why they are needed... And there was a safe in the room. Which, to me, says, "We don't trust our locks or our maids, so we'll give you this safe to put your valubles in when you're not here". Hmmm...
Like I said, close to the Everglades, but that's it. I woudn't stay there again and I wouldn't recommend it either.
