We have stayed at the Motor Lodge for years during the Mountain State Forest Festival. All of the staff treat you like family. The restraunt is the best in Elkins and have the BEST HOT Cinnamon Rolls served with your meal. Definately worth the trip! Can't wait for the next Forest Festival to visit these fine people again.

I stayed at the Elkins Motor Lodge for business. I was so suprised by this company. The staff were just a joy to work with. I had business meetings scheduled elsewhere (one the chain hotels) and they messed up the schedule and had double booked the conference room. The Staff at the Elkins Motor Lodge came up to bat for me. They have 4 beautiful dining rooms and allowed me to use one of them for my presentation. Their help and cooperation made me change my plans and continue all of my meetings there for the next several weeks. They even have internet wi-fi available. It was like having my own set of people working with me. They made all my accomadations and would do anything I asked. They did not even charge me for the use of the room because we had dinner there. What a deal. The rooms are nice, clean and have a beuatiful view.

If you want a place to stay were people really care about your needs and make your stay personal, I would recommend staying that Elkins Motor Lodge when you are in Elkins. Sweetes people on earth and nice rooms.

What a joy it was to stay at the Elkins Motor Lodge. A lost world. The staff are so friendly and helpful. They are like family. They take great personal care of the patrons and make you stay so nice. I have stayed at chain motels for years but this privately owned motel is so refreshing. Not impersonal like chains. The owner was available and talked directly to us about our needs. The Manager, Joe was such a wonderful man. He went out of his way to help us. We stayed there due to an illness and a family member being hospitalized. These people were so attentive and helpful to us. The rooms are nice and clean. Well kept. We loved them and would highly recommend everyone to stay there. Stop staying at the chain hotels and go back home to a place were people really care about you needs.
