Stayed in this hotel in Mid-Spetember at which time of the year it was virtually empty. Grand Is an apt name as this was indeed a "Grand" hotel in the traditional meaning of the world. Spaciaous, sumptous furnishings and history oozing from much of the decor but still clean and efficient in a very undrstated modern way. My room was a bit of a let down given the sumptuousness of the public areas - a bit musty and not particularly big. The food was superb and I have reviewed it elsewhere.
