My sisters and mom and I just spent a relaxing weekend with Captain Matt at the Full Moon Inn. We rented the cabin - a 2 story, rustic building with a great view of the property and 2 very comfortable rooms.
After checking in, Captain Matt gave us a map of Fredericksburg and made recommendations for dinner that were outstanding. He even called in our reservations for Satruday night!
We loved our room with all the great furnishings and charm. We slept great because we could open the windows and leave the door open to the night air. Of course, that meant that we also got a free concert from Luckenbach - less than a mile away.
In the morning, Captain Matt showed us why he chose to own a bed and breakfast. Those pumpkin pancakes were so delicious! Along with those was a wide assortment of side items to enjoy. He also regaled us with tales of his life and people in the area - very entertaining.
We were sad to have to leave, but well rested and relaxed. Thanks Captain Matt!
