Kathy and I first found the star, from looking online at Buber's Basque pages. (A listing of all Basque eating places in the U.S.)
We eat at the "star" every time we come thru Elko, it's a "no miss". I love the lamb, every way they fix it and Kathy always gets the cod or the halibut. This restaurant is always busy, so plan to come early, and enjoy a "picon punch",while you wait to be seated. This is a family style" seating Basque restaurant, so meeting people is a plus!. We love this place!!!!!!
