People have written that the service is not that great, but these type of places aren't really meant for a sit-down meal, but for take-out. I guess they have tables and chairs for those 1 to 5 percent that want to sit in and eat. Also, I'll let you in on a little secret so as not to get caught up in the long line as well as long wait-call ahead and order. I've done it while sitting in the parking lot, less stress and headache from waiting in line. I usually order the fried bone fish and barbecue ribs which are pretty decent and at a very decent, reasonable price. Enjoy!

It has been several years since I patronized Henry's Soul Cafe. I must say I was disappointed with the customer service, facilities and the food itself. I called my order in at 6:45 p.m. and I was told that my food would be ready in 20 minutes. When I arrived at the Cafe, I had to wait an additional 20 minutes. What was the point of calling in the order? Also, the staff was unprofessional, unconcerned with the quality of service and level of customer satisfaction. My cornbread was cold, my greens were bland and overall not worth the $15.00 I spent. Unless you happen to be an individual who does not care about a dirty environment, ill-prepared food and lackluster customer service, I recommend that you do not patronize Henry's Soul Food Cafe. Would Henry be happy about this place, NO!

The food is great but their customer service is very bad and their phone etiquettes is even worst. They are not polite nor are they helpful. I will not spend my money with them ever again because they don't value me as a customer.
