We ordered lunch. After waiting half an hour, we asked about our meals and we told they were coming right up. twenty minutes later we asked for them "to go" because we had to get back to work.
We had to wait another 10 minutes to get the food. We were late. The bill included a tip which we had to pay. We did NOT have any service. She brought us a coke and that was all. never even checked on us. This was the WORST service I have ever had anywhere. The fact that they included a tip for it is an insult. I will never, ever go back to this place.

Took about 20 minutes to get service and then a additional 20 minutes to get our drinks ordered appetizers and told waitress to come back for dinner order. Took 45 minutes to get our appetizers she did not return to take our dinner order. Complained twice to manager he apologized but never took care of the situation. Was there once before and did not like the service or food then. Will never go back and will tell everyone of the terrible service and food.

We have had lunch here before and it was great, but we caught hthe breakfast buffet this time. We had friends in from out of town and bragged about this place! The buffet was $17 each and the food was horrible. The scrambled eggs were like powdered eggs, the sausage was tasteless and the omlettes were fair at best. It was in no way worth $17.00!! I have had better breakfasts at Bob Evans. Take a hint, Hornblower's...stick to regular lunch and dinner fare and don't rip off the public for a really bad $17.00 breakfast.

a wonderful experience! the lake was gorgeous, the food was excellent and the staff was so friendly! the place was clean and tidy and very nice. wonderful. the waitress was very attentive without being intrusive and annoying. the food was cooked exactly the way i wanted it. the menus werent all greasy. there was an extensive wine list to choose from.
