I'm not sure if they might have been tired, but no one working there was smiling or friendly. When inquiring about what cakes were available the waitress (I believe she may have been an owner) just waved her arm toward the ones in the display tower. I wasn't sure if I was to try and guess what flavors or should I have gotten up and walked over for a closer look. Then two gentlemen came in and asked about dessert and were told "we only have cake" like an apology instead of hyping their wonderful cakes. They didn't have ice cream to go with so the gentlemen were not pleased either.
The decor really misses the mark. The pictures are so high that there is no atmosphere established; no coziness. The chairs were like sitting on the head of a pin. I like a wide chair and these are like old ice cream parlor chairs. The food was okay BUT THE CAKES ARE THE BEST this side of Rosine's in Monterey. I'll go back for the cake, but that's all.

We had dinner on Mother's day it was a very nice dinner... the cake were to die for.... very rich and tasty... Arturo was a very hard worker and Victor very plesant. The personal touch was given when the owner were in the restaurant making sure everything was fine. Over all good dining experience and will recommend it to my famliy and friends.

Arturo and Victor keep up the good work....
