| My wife, my son, my two daughters, and I ate at Brio a few nights ago. We arrived during a dinner rush and had to wait for a few minutes, but we were greeted and treated like we were the only guests there. Their prices are in the moderate range, but they are reasonable considering the professional yet relaxing and friendly atmosphere and the beautiful setting. My steak was one of the best I've ever had, and my family loved their food as well. Our service was quite impressive. Like I mentioned before, we arrived during a dinner rush, but our waiter was very professional. Our order was taken and our food arrived promptly with everything just as we had ordered it. To put things into perspective, all the owners would have to do is dim the lights and put candles on the table in order to double their prices and place Brio into the upscale fine-dining category. If you ask me, I would say that this establishment definitely has their act together. Even during times of high volume, from what I could tell, they do not "miss a beat" (for lack of better words). I highly recommend this restaurant, and I will be visiting Brio every time I come back into Birmingham from now on.
