| We had a great time with our friends that we don't get to see that often. The service was awesome from the time we called to the time we left. They asked us if we were having a celebration on the phone, and I asked my wife if she gets that a lot while making reservations elsewhere. She said "no", and I was left to wonder why they would ask. I told them simply that we were just getting together with friends that we hadn't seen in awhile. When we arrived at the restaurant, our table was immediately ready. Weird for Columbus, and the place was jam packed. When the server came to the table, simply stated that since we had never been to the restaurant he would go over the entire menu in detail. This he did really well, and after taking our drink orders, returned to drop them off, and made the comment that since we hadn't seen each other for awhile he would give us time to reconnect, and make our menu choices. WOW. They listened on the phone, and it carried over to the server!!!!! Who are these people. Obviously, I am a huge fan and will return whenever money permits. They did a great job, and the food was great. Kudos to them

| I have been to The Melting Pot on several occasions, both this location and the one on N. High St., and have never had a bad experience. In fact, I have always found the food to be delicious, the service to be excellent, and the fondue experience to be enjoyable. I will continue to go back for this one-of-a-kind treat! I highly recommend the Yin-and-Yang dessert fondue...yummy!

| This was the single most disgusting dining experience I have ever had. Three of my friends and I get together once a year for a holiday dinner and we were excited about trying The Melting Pot. The restaurant felt like a sauna. It's a good thing a layered my clothing because it was so hot in there. I had never been there before and our waitress was not very informative. We ordered 2 of the "fondue for 2" and were told to choose 1 cooking style because there was only 1 burner at our table. Since the cooking styles were not really explained to us and no suggestions were given by our waitress, we just went with the "Fondue Bourguignonne," which is cooking in oil along with some batters. The waitress went over the instructions quickly and all I could remember was to cook the meat for about 2 minutes. At first I dipped the meat in the tempura batter and stuck it in the oil. I timed for two minutes but the tempura and the meat was clearly not cooked yet. So I gave it a few more minutes – after about ten minutes went by, it looked like it would be okay. Well it tasted like a big piece of grease. Then I tried another without using tempura and it took just as long to cook and tasted just as bad. I literally was taking my twenty minutes for two bites of food. We complained to the waitress a couple of times and she just keep saying that it would get heat up. After several attempts on cooking with the oil, we finally said something to the manager, Jesse, and he informed us that the oil was not turned high enough so he turned it up but at that point we were over it. We had been there for well over an hour and everything we cooked tasted like a big blob of grease. GROSS!! The waitress didn't seem to care we were not happy after we complained, another wait staff refilled our water at one point and spilled water on my friend's lap and didn't' seem to notice or care. I work in a service oriented industry and if I ever sensed that my client's were unhappy, I would do what ever I could to rectify the situation. I also work in the Easton area and my client's are always asking where they should go to eat – THE MELTING POT will not be on my list of suggestions. No one at The Melting Pot seemed to care that we were unhappy. Our bill was close to $200 – what a rip off. I stopped at the front desk in a futile attempt to explain to the 2 managers what a disappointing experience we had, they kind of pushed my in a corner so the people waiting would not hear and informed me that they "had my reservation and would contact me" (which they have not) and also gave me four $10 vouchers for dessert which we found were expired. What a joke! In a nutshell, it is too expensive for what you get and what you get is disgusting and the customer service stinks!
