| The prices are VERY HIGH for what you get. We didn't realize the pie was $4.50 (yes, $4.50) per slice until we saw our bill. NEVER AGAIN! Johnny Ray's pies are great, but don't cost nearly as much.

| We've eaten at the Greystone Jim 'n Nicks, the Hoover location, and the Homewood location. All offer good service, good food, and generous portions. The best location for their famous pies is the Homewood restaurant on Oxmoor Road.
Whether it is their Pig in the Garden salad with smoked turkey, their barbeque, their quesadillas, or their cheese biscuits, every menu item is made fresh.
You can also call ahead and pick up food or use their drive throughs for evenings on the way home from work, when you want a quick dinner.
A solid choice !

| Jim 'n Nicks is a multi unit chain in the Southeast. Fantastic BBQ. Many types of meats are offered. Pork, Beef, Chicken Turkey. The menu offers salads, potatoes, sandwitches, and platters. All plateers come with a choice of two sides. They also give you the opportunity to combine two meats on a platter. The meats are smoked to perfection. The sauce is on the sweet side. Several different types of Hot sauce are on the table. The sides include beans, vegetables and potatoes. The salads and platters are large enough to share. The staff is friendly, attentive and quick. Don't miss the smoked Turkey platter with pinto and collards.
